Temple Digital Sanctuary · Kopargaon (Shirdi) · 2026

A sanctuary that reads as reverent, not marketed.

Build a digital home for a temple, not a marketing microsite. Devotees arrive with a specific need — darshan timings, event calendar, seva registration, a way to donate. The site should serve them in one breath, and hold the temple’s reverence in every screen.

Scope

What we were hired to build.

iskconkopargaon.org is the official website for ISKCON Kopargaon — an extension centre of ISKCON Juhu, located moments from Shirdi in Maharashtra. We designed and built the digital presence for the temple, its programs and its donation flows.

How we planned

Visit questions first, then participation, then contribution.

The audience is devotees, pilgrims and college students — three groups with different intents (visit, participate, contribute). We planned an IA that answered visit questions first (aarti times, darshan hours, how to reach), then invited deeper participation (Gita Life, Annadaan, Gaushala programs), then made contribution effortless.

How we delivered

A calm, devotional visual system.

A calm, devotional visual system with clear temple-timings surfaced above the fold; a festival and event calendar covering Janmashtami, Rath Yatra and daily programs; program pages for Annadaan, Gaushala and youth outreach; and streamlined donation call-to-actions with UPI and card support.

What we learnt

Ease of participation is the metric.

Non-profit and devotional sites live or die by ease of participation. Removing every extra tap between intent and contribution mattered more than any aesthetic decision.

A temple website should feel like the temple. Not like a WordPress theme.

How the client improved

A stable digital front door for Shirdi pilgrim traffic.

The temple now has a stable digital front door for the pilgrim traffic passing through Shirdi and the local devotee base — with online participation in programs and donations meaningfully easier than before.
